This classical town is full of history, and one of the favorite “go-to’s” is the Ohio Glass Museum. With material dating back since 1890, guests are found to be “blown away”. An interesting glimpse of Ohio’s past, the glass museum is full of many antique treasures that entice visitors. The museum even offers hands-on classes. Sherman House
Step back-in-time when you step into the Sherman House. Make sure to check out this fabulous historical site, the birthplace of General William Tecumseh Sherman, and his younger brother John Sherman, a former U.S. senator. The brothers, who were born in the early 1800s, were prominent figures in the Civil War. Some historians say that General Sherman was one of the most important Union generals, up there with Ulysses S. Grant! The home is considered an official Civil War memorial site, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
