If hiking out to a field isn’t your thing, Katie’s has you covered. They have all their pumpkins and gourds pre-picked and gathered in their barn for visitors to choose from. Right next to the barn they often have some farm animals resting, with feed for purchase at check out if you want to share a snack with a furry friend.

Kleather’s is family run and oriented--each year they hand plant their pumpkins, some of which they’ll later paint for visitors to purchase. Get your apple cider fix while you’re here and try a caramel apple (or two)!

Their white barn is chock full of farm and fall themed goodies--candles, candies, and other small gifts. Throughout the years they’ve added a pumpkin carriage, pumpkin train, and tons of props for photo ops scattered throughout.

One of their year round attractions is their raw, local honey--Majestic Nursery and Gardens places an emphasis on natural, pesticide free produce and that includes the produce their bees have access to. During the fall, they have over 50 varieties of pumpkins, gourds, and squash for a diverse range of decor. They have barrels of the adorable mini pumpkins, perfect for kids to carry around!

A 15-acre maze, accompanied by an observation platform, dares visitors to navigate rows of corn. There’s also a treasure hunt for the adventurous--a GPS layout guides visitors through the three and a half miles of walkways to find the hidden treasure.

This pumpkin patch, located near Dayton, has plenty prepared for the fall season. Pick your own pumpkins, get a ticket for a cow train ride,  and hop on a hayride--or wander through their free straw maze where bales are piled up high around you.

Homemade treats await when you get in from the fields, and all their prices are affordable. For $11.50 you can get an all-inclusive hayride, which includes a ticket to the corn maze and a pumpkin! Pumpkins range in size from mini to monstrous so younger members of the family can carry their own.

Tom’s 8-acre corn maze is sure to have you running in circles--they were just voted into the Best Corn Maze category in a 10 Best Readers’ Choice travel award contest sponsored by USA Today, so they’re kind of a big deal.

In addition to the maze, they’ve got a pumpkin train ride that encircles the farm--and tickets are only $1! Their goat boardwalk is another amusing feature where visitors can watch goats play on a gigantic multi-level jungle gym.

And of course they have plenty of pumpkins and gourds to choose from--over 50 varieties!

Tukens Orchard and Farm Market

Tukens puts a lot of work into ensuring that their seasonal, freshly harvested fruits and vegetables are of the highest quality. Organic mulch beds and continuous care from experienced gardeners helps them produce delicious, fresh foods.

Their pumpkin varieties all have fanciful names like Baby Boo, Casper, Sorcerer, and Giant. After you get a pumpkin, check out their market section where fresh picked vegetables crowd up against tons of fruit preserves, pickles, and sauces and you can even visit an old fashioned candy counter!

Family fun is the focus here! You can pick your pumpkin and bag your own apples at Sizemore Farms, where freshly made kettle corn greets you after your trip on the best hay ride in the state of Ohio.

Their antique barn is truly a beautiful addition to this farm, and visitors are encouraged to take a look. A genuine tire swing is another attractive offering--as is the indoor shop where visitors can purchase yummy treats and autumnal decor.

Farmland passed down since 1803, Warrick Farm is over 40 acres and provides the perfect site to make some family memories. Goats keep the grass mowed, chickens scratch the yard, and cattle are fattened on the sprawling grounds.

The petting zoo and cornbox are two of their favorite attractions, and they also have pumpkins and mums available in the fall that you can take home to brighten up your own yard. This place is also a great site for birthday parties or Halloween parties--rent out a tent and have some hayrides thrown in!

Windmill Farm

This 37-acre facility has a lot to offer--from an adventure hayride that combines education and fun to a decorated hayride trail. They have pumpkins, fudge, caramel apples, kettlecorn, and tons more treats to snack on in their picnic areas.

They also have three venues where private parties can be scheduled: the Pavilion Party House, the Chuck Wagon House, and the Glass Party House. All areas are located close to their play areas and animal pens.
