What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

“I'll start by saying I love breakfast places, hole in the walls and everything that goes with that!  This place hits on all points!  Little Hole in the Wall, check...great coffee (a must for a breakfast place), check and great breakfast fair, check..check and check!!” - Yelp

German Village Coffee Shop

193 Thurman Ave | Columbus |

Arguably the most important part of breakfast is having a great cup of coffee to go with it. The caffeine wakes you up and gets you ready to face the day.

German Village Coffee Shop is known for exactly that-- great coffee! On top of that, it will not cost you an arm and a leg like many other modern coffee shops do. A cup of coffee here is only one dollar! This all adds to the ‘classic diner’ feel German Village Coffee Shop is going for.

They were established all the way back in 1981 right within German Village. The owners have aimed to keep the style exactly how it was all the way back at the beginning of the 80’s. This includes that classic ‘cook the food right in front of you feel’ essential to all great diners.

If you happen to wake up a little too late for breakfast, no problem! German Village Coffee Shop is open for lunch as well. At lunch, they mainly serve burgers and sandwiches of all different shapes and styles.

If you miss the diners of the past, stop in at German Village Coffee Shop for an authentic diner experience!

“By far the best breakfast in town. Everything is great, but I'm partial to their western omelette. Everything is always prompt. The best part  though is  the staff. Everyone is AMAZING. Shannon especially. Everyone that walks in, she calls them by name and makes everyone feel like they walked into their mom's house. I HIGHLY recommend GVCS.” - Yelp

169 E Beck St | Columbus |

Lindey’s is a great place to go to make an impression. Maybe you are meeting a special someone or want to take your family out for a classy breakfast. Either way, Lindey’s fine establishment is perfect for upscale get-togethers.

While the average price at Lindey’s can be a bit steep, they make up for it in the service department. Their top of the line servers are well-versed on their entire menu to ensure customer satisfaction. On top of that, the modern atmosphere and clean-cut angles of the dining space make for an ‘Upper East Side’ establishment right in the heart of German Village.

Not to be outdone by the astonishing atmosphere, Lindey’s food is top notch! Their most notable breakfast option is the eggs benedict with shaved Applewood ham. If you want to keep it simple, they also have a classic breakfast option consisting of two eggs, hash browns, bacon, and an English muffin.

If you weren’t able to make it for breakfast and it is closing in on lunch or dinner time, you could have a variety of fishes including salmon, grouper, and Idaho rainbow trout. If you are not feeling seafood, they have a multitude of different cuts of steak including filet and New York strip. End the meal with an elegant dessert like crème brulee or sorbet.

“The food here is stellar.  Really, truly impeccable.  I think the best food I have eaten in Ohio.  The atmosphere matches the food.  Soft lighting, not overly loud.” - Yelp

The Woodbury

215 E Town St | Columbus |

Perhaps the most unique restaurant on this list, The Woodbury puts a twist on the traditional classics. Their motto is that “you’re free to take risks and dive into the unexpected. You’ll experience an escape from monotony and a totally new, unique storyline.” After hearing that, you know you are in for a treat.

But what exactly do they mean by ‘dive into the unexpected?’ To answer, here are some of their breakfast options. Candied bacon crepes, french toast casserole, chicken hotcake tacos, or deep fried peanut butter and jelly. Any of these meals would certainly be a good conversation piece, and taste just as great!

If you’re not quite ready to dive that deep, they do offer more ‘traditional’ style breakfast options. Consider the country fried steak and eggs or the woodbury quiche! While not being as out of the box as the prior options, the taste is just as good.

Another unique aspect to The Woodbury is their full coffee bar. They open at six in the morning on weekdays to be sure you can have a great start to your day! The coffee bar features all of the signature coffee styles like lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, and many more.

By going to The Woodbury, you are ensured to have a unique dining experience and maybe even get the chance to challenge your taste buds!

“The menu was amazing, there was so many unique things you could try. I about died when I saw Ratatouille on the menu!... For the price you pay at The Woodbury, it is so worth it. Service was amazing, food was great. Next time I am definitely trying the ratatouille!!” - Yelp

496 South High St | Columbus |

First Watch is another great example of a traditional American style breakfast joint. Their main stand-out is the freshness of their food. Employees make their French toast batter from scratch every morning. They refuse to use heat lamps or deep fryers. Instead, all of their food is made fresh from scratch and promptly delivered straight to the customer.

On top of the food having a focus on the customer experience, First Watch does a multitude of services to ensure your morning is enjoyable. They provide newspapers so you can get caught up on all that is happening in the world while you eat breakfast. If you prefer electronics over paper, they also provide high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the restaurant to all customers.

Their food is great for those looking to stay healthy, mainly due to the quality of their ingredients and the cleanliness in the way they prepare them. Try one of their many different flavors of juice like ‘Morning madness juice’ or ‘kale tonic fresh juice.’ In terms of food, they have all the classic options a traditional style breakfast restaurant would have like eggs, pancakes, omelets, and even acai bowls.

Try out First Watch for a refreshing experience sure to provide a healthy start to your day.

“Good food and the juice was so delicious, refreshing and healthy. Was in the mood for a healthy and light breakfast and this place served just that for me. Of course they had other options but I enjoyed mine a lot. Would recommend for brunch in Columbus. Not badly priced either.” - Yelp

This ensures that the food is always fresh and in-season. Due to the evolving nature of Skillet’s menu, you’ll be sure to have a unique tasting experience every time you visit. This is certainly one of the reasons Skillet is such a frequented place.

Aside from the staff, their food is also locally grown by farmers and producers within the area. With such a dedication to upholding their lovely area, it creates a warm environment that seems welcoming to all.
