What’s a Rich Text element?

FGHFG

DDFGHDFGH

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

History of New Albany

Before Moving to New Albany, Get to Know the History of Your New Home

New Albany, Ohio was founded in 1837 as a small farming village. The village was named by Noble Landon, one of the founders. He had grown up in St. Albans, Vermont, which is where his main inspiration for the name “New Albany” may have come from. The other settler was William Yantis, a veteran of the war of 1812. He was a neighbor of Francis Scott Key, who wrote the “Star Spangled Banner.” During that time, the land was split up and sold to the new settlers. In 1856, New Albany became incorporated once 50 people were settled there. That is when they voted for their first official mayor. A sawmill was developed in 1889. The town voted for their first female mayor in 1922. People began to refer to New Albany by the name, “Hope.”

In 1980, New Albany’s population was still extremely small. It had less than 500 residents, and did not yet reach Columbus. The town began to grow rapidly in the 1990s, which was largely due to the expansion of Lex Wexner’s clothing empire. Lex Wexner owns “L Brands,” a large multi-billion dollar brand. Lex Wexner has the second largest mansion in central Ohio, located right in New Albany. Freeways providing easy access in and out of town were built around the same time as his mansion. Wexner’s business brought many people in the area jobs, and brought in outsiders in search of them. It is one reason for New Albany’s modern prosperity.

New Albany has a large Jewish population. Because of that, they are home to “Temple Beth Shalom,” “The Chabad Center for a Jewish Tomorrow,” and “The Columbus Jewish Day School.” There are other Jewish communities right in town to accommodate that segment of the population.

New Albany’s sawmill closed down in 2008. It was converted to a hardware store that became a town staple for the residents. The village is now home to multiple businesses, large and small. Many of those businesses are situated in Market Square, a popular shopping and gathering spot for the community. There are multiple stores and places meant for leisure in Market Square, like Starbucks and the Columbus Metro Library. There are a few large notable businesses in New Albany that keep the town running well. There is the Abercrombie & Fitch headquarters, Bob Evans Farms, and Discover Financial Services. New Albany is a very prosperous city whose residents maintain great quality lives.
