AAB India Restaurant
Award-Winning North Indian Cuisine
470 Grandview Ave, Columbus, OH 43212 | +1 614-486-2800 | aabindiarestaurants.com/
The business owner Avtar Singh moved to Ohio back in 1992 to work with his family's Indian restaurant that brings together wood-fired cooking with traditional Indian food. The Aab Indian restaurants have been a success ever since, as now they have a restaurant in Columbus and another one in Bexley.
Some of the specialties of this restaurant include the Shrimp Tandoori, fresh jumbo shrimp in spiced yogurt with fresh herbs, and barbecued on skewers. The Chicken Dal is another great option, a roasted chicken with creamed lentils and prepared with a buttery sauce and a hint of spice.
Everything I have ordered here is amazing. After trying saag mushroom, chicken saag, chicken curry, rice dishes, and many others, Aab worked its way up to my absolute favorite Indian restaurant. Yelp Review.
Berwick Manor Restaurant
Homemade Italian Goodness Since 1955
3250 Refugee Rd, Columbus, OH 43232 | +1 614-235-7100 | the-berwick.com
Tony and Maria Susi opened the doors of Berwick Manor back in 1955. At that time, the small business could only serve about 100 people. Time passed, and their business expanded to an 11,5000 square feet local with two lounge rooms, six on-site banquet rooms, and off-site catering services to private residencies, offices, and special events. The management team consists of three generations of Susi's family, so the essence of the couple who founded the business more than 60 years ago is still there.
This local restaurant offers a special Thanksgiving dinner that you can pick-up, or order online to be delivered to you. The Thanksgiving menu comes with a Green Salad, a sliced roasted turkey with white and dark meat, whipped potatoes, rolls & butter, buttered corn, and pumpkin, apple, or cherry pie with whipped cream. It's very simple to order, as you will select the serving size depending on how many people are having dinner with you. If you are tired and annoyed with eating turkey every third Thursday of November, you can order the Tired-of-Turkey meal! Homemade lasagna, layers of egg noodles, sautéed ground beef, ricotta cheese, Pecorino cheese, romano cheese, and Italian meatballs. A menu as fabulous as you are! The delivery time will depend on the area where you live, so plan accordingly and place your order before November 21st.
This weekend's wedding, every guest we spoke to raved about the food. They served Chicken Marsala over risotto, Pork Tenderloin with a fig port reduction, and Portabella mushroom ravioli. All were amazing! Yelp Review.

Loved it here!! We celebrated our one year Wedding Anniversary , and were not disappointed! Great food, great service, friendly staff! A must place to eat for quality food, all the way from the grilled veggies to the desert! Yelp Review.
This will be a different Thanksgiving. Many family members might not get together if they are in other states, and they don't want to travel due to the pandemic. Those of you who are doctors, nurses, or essential workers, might be in an even more stressful scenario this year. But remember that Thanksgiving is not relevant because of the kind of food you eat, or where do you eat, or how much you spend on your outfit. It is about bringing people together and having a good time.
Despite the distance, time, and anything else you might be stressed about, take a deep breath, think of a few great things that happened to you this year, including the great dinner you will have. Mention these things when you are sitting ready to have dinner with your beloved ones. After all, it's Thanksgiving, and there is always something grateful to be for.
