What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Though Columbus might not be as booming as New York City or Chicago with their pizza reputation, they have had quite a few visitors happily surprised. Not that I think you would want to move there just for pizza, but I’d suggest keeping a listings tab just in case!

Columbus is filled with more pizza than you think. So, for your convenience, we’ve compiled the top 27 pizza places:

Harvest Pizzeria

Fresh fire oven pizza with cheese getting sprinkled on!

2885 N High Street | Clintonville | harvestpizzeria.com

Harvest Pizzeria is a Columbus pizza chain that is located in the German Village, Clintonville, Dublin, and Over-The-Rhine boroughs. It’s also known as Harvest Kitchen + Bar, depending on the location (aka the Clintonville and Over-The-Rhine branches). They pride themselves in gourmet, artisan pizzas made from the fresh ingredients they buy from their partners’ local farms. They also provide pizzas to Curio Cocktails.

“Pizza was awesome and the buffalo cauliflower is off the charts delicious! Curbside service was perfect! Called when I arrived and the food was brought right out to my car! Everything was hot and as ordered! We just love Harvest!” - Yelp Review

Borgata Pizza Cafe

Pizza, salad, dressing, and a few other Italian entrees‍ are right here!

5701 Parkville Street | Northland | borgatapizzacafe.com

We may not be able to officially confirm if it’s the top-rated Italian restaurant in Columbus, but it’s definitely up there in the top 20. Borgata Pizza Cafe serves not only pizzas, but also salads, sandwiches, and pastas. They have two locations in Ohio: Worthington and Columbus. Worthington has the full bar and Monday night football special, but you could still have the best part in Columbus--the pizza!

“You will not find better NY-style pizza in Columbus - or better pizza in general in Columbus. Whatever you do, order extra cheese on your pizza, and passing on the pepperoni would be foolish.” - Yelp Review

Margarita pizza is this pizza place's specialty!

615 N. High Street | Short North | marcellasrestaurant.com

As part of the Cameron Mitchell restaurant family, Marcella’s carries the same gourmet vision. Their traditional pizzas are made fresh and styled with a “flatbread” look that makes them look more artsy (and good for Instagram!). Don’t forget to explore--it’s an Italian eatery, so it’s as much about the other dishes (and dare I say dessert) as it is about the pizza.

“Went there after the big reopening. I love their melted cheese appetizer - yum! I'm also a fan of the meatball and will always choose spaghetti and meatball as my entree purely to get it. Marcella's never leaves me disappointed.” - Yelp Review

‍Hounddog’s Three Degree Pizza

If you’re a meat lover, then you need to come to this place right away!

2657 N High Street | University District | hounddogspizza.com

Hounddog's Three Degree Pizza is “pizza for the people.” Though they offer a selection of specialty pizzas, they also have a “make your own” option that includes three different crusts (thin, “Smokin’ Joe’s” which is a thick garlic butter crust, or gluten-free) and even lets you pick from five different sauces. Careful! The sauces can be relatively mild (like Joes, traditional red sauce) to Howlin’ (even more spicy than spicy).

“This is one of my favorite pizza places in Columbus. Highly recommend their meat lovers pizza! We did it with the garlic butter crust. So flavorful!” - Yelp Review

Mikey’s Late Night Slice

A large variety of pizza is served right here!

268 S 4th Street | Downtown | latenightslice.com

Mikey’s Late Night Slice started as a small pizza shack in a parking lot and evolved into a Columbus-wide pizza chain. Though it’s now a popular late-night destination (open until 3 or 4 am!), they keep the theme traditional by selling pizza by the slice with variations in common recipes. Here, there's no need for gourmet, hard-to-pronounce ingredients. If you’re a night owl with a nostalgic, late-night pizza craving, buy a slice or two here or split a pie with friends.

“Hands down my favorite pizza place in town!!! I'm a fan of thin crust pizzas but theirs is thicker yet still crispy and delicious. Their unicorn sauce is what keeps me coming back to this place though!” - Yelp Review

Adriatico’s New York Style Pizza

Stop by this place for the best Chicago-style pizza!

1618 Neil Avenue | University District | adriaticososu.com

Disclaimer: Adriatico’s is not actually from New York. Adriatico’s New York Style Pizza is located on the Ohio State University campus. Every Sunday, students get 20% off with their Buck ID, so If you have a friend from OSU, consider accompanying them for Sunday pizza time. Even though they are friendly towards the students, anybody is welcome.

“I have been in love with Adriatico's pizza since going to college at OSU. Recently I went back there for a bday treat and it was still as delicious.” - Yelp Review

OH Pizza & Brew

Don’t miss out on their amazing supreme pizza that is super tasty!

88 E Broad Street | Downtown | ohpizzabrew.com‍

Besides pizza, OH Pizza & Brew also serves sandwiches and bar food such as decorated tots and wings--and don’t forget the deep fried desserts! If you thought you’d need to wait until the next state fair for funnel cake and deep fried Oreos, you’re in for a treat.

“We really enjoyed OH Pizza, it had a nice crust with a lot of flavor and tons of toppings!  The sauce also had a good flavor, not too sweet.  They also have a great garlic sauce that you can get on the side! We'll definitely be back!” - Yelp Review

Rubino’s Pizza

You have to try out their amazing pepperoni pizza!

2643 E Main Street | Downtown | rubinosofbexley.com

Rubino’s Pizza is a classic pizzeria for Columbus suburb Bexley’s residents. It gives the old school diner vibe and has a small menu characterized by toppings rather than names. It also only takes cash. Rubino’s is unlike other Columbus pizzerias because of its characteristically thin crust pizza. If you’re not a fan of thin crust, you might want to skip it.

“Best pizza ever... really... thin cracker crust, some of the best sauce in town, perfectly cooked, fast service, friendly staff, clean restaurant, what else could you ask for?” - Yelp Review

Villa Nova Ristorante

Snag a large pepperoni pizza as soon as you can!

5545 N High Street | Downtown | villanovacolumbus.com

A family-owned restaurant, Villa Nova Ristorante comes with a history. Aside from delicious pizza, the restaurant also includes a large collection of copper teapots and gauges--obsessions of the late former owner, Frank Colleli.

“I've been to villa nova a few times and the food is always good. Tried the lasagna for the first time and it was delicious! This pizza is always fantastic.” - Yelp Review

Tommy’s Pizza

Come to a staple in Columbus you have to try!

1350 W Lane Avenue | University District | tommyspizza.com

‍Over 60 years ago, Thomas Iacono brought his family recipe over from Italy and founded his first restaurant. Now, the restaurant has been a “Central Ohio Tradition Since 1952.” Even today, Tommy's Pizza is known for thin, crispy crust, and daily-made fresh dough and sauce. One of their featured pizzas, the All-the-Way Pizza, is their spin on a supreme pizza, topped with pepperoni, mushroom, sausage, peppers, and onions.

“Absolutely a classic! Old school good pie and great salad dressing. Their subs are the bomb too. There's nothing fancy here, just great food and friendly service.” - Yelp Review

‍Pizza Cucinova

Try out the fresh meat on their pizzas that is to die for!

4044 Morse Crossing | Easton | pizzacucinova.com

Pizza Cucinova specializes in Neapolitan artisan pizza that is made with fresh ingredients. Even though it’s a franchise, most of the locations are located in the Columbus area. Most notably, they have a custom personal pizza option that allows you unlimited toppings for only $8!

“We got a Caesar salad and a customized pizza, along with a cannoli for dessert and everything was wonderful.  Great flavor, fresh ingredients, great service, and prices. Highly recommend.” - Yelp Review

Yellow Brick Pizza

The stuffed crust pizza is perfect for any occasion!

892 Oak Street | Olde Towne East | yellowbrickpizza.com

There’s a reason why it’s named after the yellow brick road. Yellow Brick Pizza is known for its unique signature pizzas and specials, and for the fact, it also caters towards gluten-free and vegan diets. I didn’t even know vegan cashew cheese existed until I found Yellow Brick. Their current special Tristano’s Chicago Stuffed Pizza--double crust, cheese filled, topping-stuffed wonder--it isn’t vegan-friendly, but nonetheless a head-turner.

“This pizza is fire! I love the Chicago style, deep dish pepperoni pie! We also got the baked feta appetizer and it was bomb, as well.” - Yelp Review

Pizza Rustica

Get a mixed topping pizza from this incredible place!

17 S High Street | Downtown | pizzarustica-columbus.com

Pizza Rustica is actually a child branch of a franchise from Miami, but it’s gotten so popular that it’s much more well-known than its parent. As for their menu, they offer a selection of salads, calzones, and even a couple dessert pies to choose from-- and salad pizzas, imagine that!

“Very friendly staff and even better pizza! Thin pizza and a good crust. Very tasty and not skimpy with the topping. Cheesy bread was excellent and very cheesy.” - Yelp Review

Dewey’s Pizza

Knock a cold one back while indulging in some of the best pizza around!

1327 W Fifth Avenue | Downtown | deweyspizza.com

Just because it’s a successful chain doesn’t mean it’s less than a small business pizza shop. Dewey’s Pizza is a popular midwestern pizza chain that spans from Ohio to Kansas. Their fun-themed pizza names such as Green Lantern and Edgar Allen Poe, along with a broad vegetarian selection gives this place an edge. What is even more awesome is that Dewey’s has a volunteer network called Dewmore, because giving back is always a good idea.

“Favorite pizza joint in Columbus--great pizza with top-notch crust (unless you only like the flat kind of pizza) and great customer service.” - Yelp Review

GoreMade Pizza

Veggie pizza with pea sprouts is something that you have to try out!

936 N 4th Street | Italian Village | goremadepizza.com

Even though GoreMade Pizza has established a permanent location in Columbus’ Italian Village, they started as a mobile business and to this day they still drive around selling pizzas. With a wood-fired oven in their van, they often appear at local markets. Their bond with the community and their customers has always been a driving factor of their passion and success.

“Really cool place. Mostly all locally sourced made from scratch seasonal toppings. Great wood burning oven. Staff was friendly and efficient. I will be back for sure.” - Yelp Review

Carfagna’s Restaurant

Do you want to split a pizza with a friend? Make sure to check out this place then!

2025 Polaris Parkway | Italian Village | carfagnasrestaurant.com

It’s a long-time family business once led by the current owners’ grandparents, but Carfagna's Restaurant still keeps up the tradition with a variety of Italian meals. Their Italian Wedding soup and handmade specialties have Yelpers raving.

“What a wonderful family restaurant. Friendly, high quality food. Enjoy all the menu items. Great Value. Fun environment and so convenient. Eat in or go to parties. Highly recommend.” - Yelp Review

If you love wood-fired pizza, make sure to check this place out!

1369 Grandview Avenue | Downtown | figliopizza.com

It’s Zagat-rated and is probably going to be packed at dinner-time because it only opens in the evenings so I recommend getting a reservation! Figlio is an Italian restaurant, but pizza is the main dish that the owners considered when they first opened. If you want to get a feel for what taste the owners had for their passion, try “Peter and Laurie’s Favorite.”

“Love this place.  Been going for many years and the food is very consistently good. Atmosphere is cozy and energetic. Pizza is crisp and toppings are very good. Chicken diablo pasta is my favorite though.” - Yelp Review

Cafe Napolitana

Cheese pizza is their specialty, so make sure to check them out!

40 N High Street | Downtown | cafenapolitana.com

Though Cafe Napolitana has been a downtown Columbus staple for years, it’s recently received a facelift. The website is sleek and modern, and they even added a blog and pictures and social media to keep up with the times. It’s the same traditional pizza and bar, but with a new look. It’s not too late to discover it; it’s the same taste as always!

“This was some of the best pizza I've had in Columbus. It was super quick and the staff was really nice. It's not the fanciest place but great for hanging out casually with friends.” - Yelp Review

Paulie Gee’s South North

Fresh pizza pie ready to eat no matter what time of the day it is!

1195 N High Street | Short North | pauliegee.com

If you’re into the wood-fired craze, Paulie Gee’s may be a good place to add to the list. Although it’s a New York-based pizza chain, Paulie Gee’s South-North is the Columbus branch that’s still 5-starring on Yelp. We suggest keeping an eye on the website’s weekly schedule--there are special deals Tuesday to Friday, depending on the time.

“You can really taste the quality of the ingredients here. Truly the best pizza I've had in a long time! It's a pretty nice place inside and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely come back!” - Yelp Review

Iacono’s Pizza

Iacono's Pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms is really what you need to try!

4452 Kenny Road | Downtown | iaconos.com

Iacono’s Pizza is what locals would call a typical “mom-and-pop” Italian restaurant. Their pizza mirrors traditional Italian recipes with its thin crust, a favorite among their regulars. Though Iacono’s is primarily a pizza joint, customers also praise their homemade spaghetti and meatballs, and selection of subs. Other notable points include the weekday lunch buffet and salad bar, which attract customers on an ongoing basis.

“Love Iaconos! Best homemade pizza in the city! Family owned and great fresh crust, meatballs and THE RANCH is the BEST!” - Yelp Review

Mama Mimi’s Pizza

Mama's Marmellata Amoremage Pizza is the best!

1565 King Avenue | Downtown | mamamimis.com

Mama Mimi's Pizza is home to the “Take N’ Bake” pizza. Owners Jeff and Jodi Aufdencamp started this business in 2000. Their goal was to help bring families back together at their kitchen table. That’s why they serve and deliver Take N’ Bake Pizzas. It’s a meal that’s cooked at home and brings families together.

“I've been going here for years. The best pizza ever. I love the fact that I can take it home and bake it when I'm ready to eat. The toppings are always very fresh.” - Yelp Review

Brenz's well known slogan is “Born in Italy. Made in Columbus”. Besides their amazing pizza, Brenz has its own newsletters and blog. They have won over six different awards for their pizza.
