1. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Whether or not you’re a big music fan, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a place everyone must check out at least once in their lives. In addition to the many exhibits featuring just about every famous name in rock and roll, the Hall of Fame also hosts events including concerts, film screenings, and live interviews with artists that helped shape the history of rock and roll. From the traditional list of the “Songs That Shaped Rock and Roll” all the way to the largest library and archives of rock and pop music-related material, the museum is simply a must see the next time you’re in Cleveland.

2. Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Looking for something fun to do with the family? Head on over to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The zoo is a great place to not only check out the animals, but the zoo brags about its many attractions that will make the visit even more fun. Check out the 4-D theater for a unique movie experience, host an event in the African elephant crossing exhibit to let your guests get a taste of life in Africa, or hand feed the world’s tallest mammal at the Ben Gogolick Giraffe Encounter. 3. Cleveland Museum of Art

The Cleveland Museum of Art is another awe-inspiring place to check out. It features nearly endless options for any art lover including exhibitions, special events, films, tours, and music performances. The Cleveland Museum of Art’s Education and Academic affairs team works hard to provide various programs that educate the visitors so that they feel more connected to the art and get a better sense of appreciation through digital technology with the innovative Gallery One experience.

4. West Side Market

Feeling hungry? The West Side Market is the best place to get a taste of Cleveland’s diverse culture. The market features all kinds of produce, baked goods, herbs and spices, seafood, meats, cafes, and the list goes on and on. I know it sounds a bit overwhelming; that’s why they offer tours as well! In 2008, the American Planning Association designated the West Side Market as one of the “10 Great Public Places in America.” It’s up to you to check it out to see if they’re right or not.

5. A Christmas Story House

Who doesn’t love watching “A Christmas Story” around the holidays? Well now you can actually visit, tour, or even stay overnight at the A Christmas Story House to relive the holiday classic. The wonderful thing is that it’s open year round, so you don’t have to worry about the extra holiday crowds during the summer. Directly across the street from the house is a museum showcasing original props from the movie, costumes, and behind-the-scenes photos. There’s never a bad time of year to get in the holiday spirit!
