What’s a Rich Text element?

FGHFG

DDFGHDFGH

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

History of Maineville

It was founded in 1815 and on March 23, 1850, Maineville was founded as a village in Ohio. As you may have already assumed the name does come from the state, Maine. This was done because the majority of people who came to live in Maineville were first settlers in Maine.

They choose between the two names Maineville and Yankeetown and had decided on its current name.

There is actually a whole novel written by Robert Brenner titled, Maineville, Ohio, History: 100 Years As an Incorporated Town, 1850-1950.

So feel free to pick up that book if you find yourself wanting to learn more about the deep history in the town you may choose to live in.

Weather

Obviously considering you have chosen Ohio, you will have to take in the price of choosing a range of seasons that you will no doubt enjoy.

There is an average of 181 days of sun that you will receive in the village. Expect to see a possibility of 43 inches of rain and 14 inches of snow per year in Maineville. Not too bad especially since you will be experiencing snow versus living on the west coast.

The best months to be in Maineville weather wise are May, June, and September. Of course, it is expected to see that January and February (the colder months for us east coast people) may be the least “pleasant” out of the twelve months.

But going back to the sun the hottest days tend to occur in the summer, specifically July reaching the highest of about 86°. Not too bad. The glamorous sun that is portrayed in the media all over the place is great only if you are used to it.

We don’t have to sweat too much here. And as for fall, you will get to see those beautiful colors on the leaves change along with the crisp cooler air you’ll feel when trick-or-treating along with your close community.

Get to Know Maineville Like a Local

Now let’s get to the fun stuff and what you can look forward to visiting what local there is to offer. We have plenty to show you!

El Picante

1525 Genntown Dr. | Lebanon | elpicantemexicancuisine.com

Hola! The first restaurant stop that we urge you to try if you like the type-- some Mexican food! El Picante is an authentic Mexican restaurant that will allow you to try some of the tastiest foods.

They have great dinner combos listed on their menu like two tacos, one enchilada, and chile con queso for $9.99.

They serve lunch from 11 AM to 3 PM and a tasty option they have listed is a “Lunch Taco salad.” That dish consists of a crispy flour tortilla bowl with melted cheese sauce that is also topped with seasoned ground beef or tender chicken, with tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream. All for $6.25.

You have all the classics like fajitas, tacos, burritos, and more to take your pick from. They even serve seafood!

If you’re not full be sure to try a flan for dessert. It is an authentic Carmel Mexican dessert that is quite popular.

“This is my 'go to' place for good Mexican food. The food is always fresh & this visit was no exception. The Carne Asada Tacos are made so simply; tortillas, steak, onions, cilantro & lime...thats it!  If you prepare dishes with great ingredients, you get great results!  No need for tons of extra toppings or sauces. This food stands on it's own.” -Yelp review

The Monkey Bar and Grille

7837 Old 3C Hwy. | Maineville | themonkeybarandgrille.com

This is perfect for everyone over twenty-one of course. You need a good bar spot when you’re considering moving. It is a great spot to meet people and to relax and have fun! And this spot is no exception.

Back in the day, this bar was a tavern called Twenty Two Mile Stand. In the late 1900’s the Monkey bar was up and running and take a second to guess why it is named “Monkey Bar.” Well in fact the owner, Ken Harris actually purchased a chimpanzee named Sam. He used to drink beer and smoke cigarettes alongside the people.

Controversy aside, that is a very interesting historical fact that comes along with the property.

Now, as far as their menu is concerned we have quite a few options. Four categories on the website include Bourbon, on tap, cocktails, and wine.

Looking at the cocktail menu they have many “monkey” themed drinks such as the Monkey lemonade (absolut watermelon, lemonade, sour and watermelon pucker), Monkey Mule (Tito’s with Goslings ginger beer and lime, with options of muddled fruit, strawberry, raspberry, and peach) and Malibu Monkey (absolut lime, malibu, pineapple, and sprite).

Of course, these all sound good, and to explore what’s on tap, they have Blonde, Pale, and Golden Ales among others.

If you love it enough they even have merchandise.

“Everything is amazing. The food trucks, the staff, the events especially JEEP NIGHTS!!! The atmosphere is great for families, dogs, kids etc. We absolutely love it. Have been going since 1993.” -Yelp review

Roll On In Maineville - Hibachi, Sushi Burritos, & Bowls

6052 OH-48. | Maineville | rollonin.com

Hibachi is one of the best foods to exist on the planet, let’s face it. You have all kinds of food to pick from and each is just as good as the rest.

This restaurant uses fresh ingredients to make some delicious food, we’ll tell you about some of those options.

You do have a create-your-own option on the menu where you can choose a base (sushi burrito, hibachi bowl, sticky rice bowl, and a salad) then you have your protein (salmon, tuna, shrimp, chicken, etc.) and then you fill and top it!

If you would like something straight off of the menu they have their specialty burritos, and bowls. One that looked especially delicious is “The Trio,” a specialty bowl that has fried rice, tempura shrimp, chicken, steak, carrot, green onion, avocado, cilantro, yum yum, and wonton strips.

“This was my first time trying the Maineville location and it did not disappoint! I was so disappointed when the Loveland store 5 minutes from me closed but this is still worth the drive! I got a bowl with fried tofu and brown rice - so good! I love their fresh ingredients - mango, edamame salad, and sweet potatoes are my faves.” -Yelp review

Mac’s Pizza Pub Landen

2920, US-22. | Maineville | macspizzalanden.com

Surely you had to know we’d have to throw a pizza shop in here! So take a trip to Mac’s Pizza Landen and get a slice of some good ole cheesy greatness.

You’ve got salads, burgers, sandwiches, and pizzas to choose from. We will of course be getting into the main event, the pizza.

You’ve got plenty of flavors to choose from like BBQ, buffalo chicken, or a chicken bacon ranch pizza. We specifically looked at their Caprese pizza which is garlic butter, sliced vine-ripened tomato, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil, cracked black pepper, olive oil, and balsamic syrup.

Sounds delicious, doesn’t it?

“We've driven by Mac's many times and never stopped in.  We decided to drop in and give it a go, and we were pleasantly surprised.  We didn't know they had the large volleyball court area in the back, and the patio dining was much nicer than we expected.” - Yelp review.

Kings Island

6300 Kings Island Dr. | Mason | visitkingsisland.com

A true attraction you should consider visiting is Kings Island. It is an amusement park that offers a few different kinds of parks which are rides and water parks.

When you search online you can filter out the level of “thrill” of each ride which can help anyone who may be unaware of what they are getting into.

“It's fun great prices good lines and great staff oh and a lot of food... Yum.”- Google review
