Powell Creek Campground

Powell Creek Campground has tent sites, camper sites, and a fabulous lake to swim in. The campground also includes over a mile of winding trails. In the recreation building there is a pool table and a kitchen perfect for parties. Rent the building for just $50.00 a day! There is a basketball court, jungle gym, and many picnic tables outside.

The summer is filled with special themed weekends like Thanksgiving and Christmas in July. The weekend of August 3rd through 5th is for a good cause. The event raises money for a local organization called Children’s Lantern that builds safehouses for local sex trafficking survivors getting back on their feet. The event will have activities like face painting, a jump house, food vendors and live music! Check out their calendar of events.

Woodbridge Campground

Woodbridge Camping ground has spacious camper sites situated on a tree-lined, wandering lake. They are family owned and run. Their regular activities include:

  • Pool open daily noon-9pm
  • Friday night bingo
  • Saturday kids activities and crafts
  • Saturday afternoon horseshoe tournaments
  • Saturday evening cornhole tournaments
  • Saturday hay rides at 7pm
  • Saturday and Sunday morning coffee at the campground store

Blue Water Campground

2757 Co Rd 173, Grover Hill, OH 45849

Blue Water has been family owned and operated since 2001. A campground with a spirit for fun, their 4th of July parade featured some lovely decorated golf carts! Check out photos from the fun on their Facebook page. Their amenities include a pool and a small arcade room. Also, you’ll be happy to know that according to one Google review, the shower is clean and up to date.

Huggy Bear Campground

Huggy Bear has primitive sites for tent pitching, deluxe camper sites, and cabins available for rental. Huggy Bear’s slogan is “where the fun never ends.” They earn this title with plenty of amenities like a splash pad, swimming pools, playgrounds, and mini golf. There is a stage for live entertainment throughout the season. For your comfort, there is an on-site laundry and restrooms with showers.

Huggy Bear is a community oriented campground, determined to give back to the people who make their place possible. They’ve held St. Jude benefits that have raised over $300,000. Lake Cody

The campgrounds at Lake Cody are located on a swimming beach! The 15 acre lake is surrounded by mile-long walking and biking path and 130 campsites. The sites include full hook-up sites, and pull-through sites for larger units. Lake Cody has been family owned and operated for over 45 years, the land was originally the family farm.
