What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

No matter where you live, you certainly want your home to feel cozy and inviting. However, it may happen that your apartment is small or that you don’t have too much space in your room. But, that shouldn’t stop you from having a cozy space to live in, even though a small space is tricky to decorate. Luckily, there are a few basic things you can do to make your small space as cozy and inviting as possible.

Throw Blankets on It

Any space can instantly become cozy with a few blankets in it. You should do the same to provide some warmth and texture to your home. If you want to decorate your small living room, throw a few fuzzy blankets on the couches and sofas, and don’t forget to add a few pillows. This fuzziness will provide warmth and texture, and with that comes the coziness you always wanted. Especially during these colder months.

Paint with Warm Colors

White walls can look classy, but in a space that’s small, they can provide a rather sterile look. Plus, if you want to introduce coziness into the space, you will have to rely on warm colors. For example, you can pick a wall in that small room of yours and make it an accent wall. This will provide dimension and depth to the space, making it seem and feel bigger. Then, pick a color in warmer hues for that accent wall. You can go with creamy neutral shades for example that will provide warmth, and depth and transform this small space into a cozy and inviting room. However, avoid bold colors since they can make the room seem even smaller.

Make Your Bed Comfier

If you are sharing your home with roommates or other family members, then you might want to focus on your room more. If it’s small, you can use those tricks with blankets and colors, but you can also focus on your bed, too. If you want comfort, then make sure your bed is comfy and cozy. You can do that by looking for a new mattress, for example. If your mattress is old and has springs in it, then it’s time for it to go. You can click here to browse for a new comfy mattress that will provide you with coziness and a good night’s sleep.

Additionally, you can provide a blanket or two to your bed. And don’t forget about those colorful and comfy pillows.

Use Soft Lighting

Nothing speaks coziness better than soft lighting in your home. You can easily rely on light to make any room as cozy as possible. During the day, you can rely on natural light and to light those dark corners, you can use floor lamps for extra mood and coziness. Just make sure to use soft yellow lightbulbs. Also, you can set up battery-dependant candles, scented candles, string lights, and even Himalayan salt lamps to provide enough cozy light to your rooms. Those fluorescent overhead lights will only make the room feel too cold, so try to avoid those as much as possible. Even with just a few new lamps, you will notice a huge difference in the overall atmosphere and decor of your space.

Play with Trinkets

It goes without saying that you want to keep your small space clutter-free, but that doesn’t mean you can’t decorate it. If you love trinkets all over the place, make sure to create balance with them and decorative accents. You can stack books on your windowsill, place tiny plants on your desk, tables, TV stand, etc. Additionally, a few candles and pictures will provide a cozy and personable feel to your room and you are bound to enjoy it more. Plus, if you place a mirror or two in the room, you will manage to reflect light and open up the space even more.

Go Vertical

If the space is small it probably means there isn’t enough storage. Lack of storage can create clutter and a chaos-like ambiance, and you want to avoid that. So, to create more storage and more space for decorating, you should go vertical. You can set up raised trays to organize your oil, cosmetics, and even office supplies. Also, a few plastic drawers that you can place under the bathroom cabinet will save you a lot of space and keep everything organized. Additionally, you can set up a few more shelves in the living room and provide space for all the books, plants, and other decorative accents you would like to place.

Every room should be used to its full potential in order to feel cozy. If the room is small, you sometimes have to get creative, but it’s very much possible to make it cozy. Just keep everything in its place, focus on vertical storage and personalize the space. As soon as you do that, you will notice how the ambiance changes and how much you actually love your home, no matter how small.
