It’s October, and that means pumpkins! Here’s a list of pumpkin farms near Cleveland where you can get your Fall fix and do fun activities with your family.
1. Pickering Hill Farms
Family-owned by the Pickerings for over 100 years.
Pickering Hill Farms is 12 acres. They began in the mid-1800s as a ranch and meat business. As generations passed, they began to grow vegetables and build a market. Their market now is 6,000 square feet.
A day at the farm includes:
- Wagon rides to pick pumpkins from 1lb to 50lbs
- Corn Maze
- Amish meats, cheeses, jams, and butters
- Homemade breads, cakes, and pumpkin rolls
- Local honey and syrupsLocal and home-produced pies and baked goods

2. Pick n’ Save Orchard

Pick n’ Save Orchard is very authentic, with everything farm-fresh and homemade. They’re family owned, and they’ve been up and running for over 85 years. Their 850 semi-dwarf trees are trimmed to make harvesting easier.
At Pick n’ Save Orchard, you can enjoy:
- Fresh-pressed cider
- Homemade maple syrup, still made the way it was 70 years ago, with a 12-foot long wood-fire stove
- Honey fresh from the beehive
- Various kinds of apples and other fruits
