What’s a Rich Text element?

FGHFG

DDFGHDFGH

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

When you’re looking for a way to relax and unwind after a long day, who wouldn’t take advantage of the opportunity to get some serious Netflix time in? Whether or not you prefer to binge watch your favorite Netflix show, or like to dabble into a few at a time, the streaming service is full of all kinds of original, as well as external, movies and series. One of the most popular categories is their home related series, that can range from some serious repair, changing a room, or getting an insider look at expensive houses.

Netflix has many shows worth watching that relate back to real estate in one way or another-- and can make for some interesting drama! We’ve put together this list of some of the best house related shows available on Netflix right now, so you can get your fill of all things home renovation and real estate!

Best Home Renovation and Real Estate Shows on Netflix

Sometimes it’s nice to watch a series where you can see the transformation of a home that was previously in disrepair or disorganization, change into something that is extremely aesthetically pleasing. It is satisfying in a way, and also a little inspiring-- perhaps with some hard work, you could make some changes to your own home for the better! DIY home renovation/design shows are extremely popular for that reason-- they offer viewers the chance to see first hand what goes into changing the inward and outward appearance of a home. The technical and creative skills of the hosts are also fascinating to watch as well. Who doesn’t like to see how a house can truly transform with some structural changes and a good dash of interior design inspiration!

Real estate shows are also extremely popular to stream on Netflix. How else would you get to see inside unique and luxurious homes all over the world? Even though viewers know that these houses are nowhere near their price range, there’s just something about those out-of-reach homes that make you want to know and see more. These shows give viewers a peek inside a world of real estate that would never be available without the bank account to also afford these homes as well.

It’s no surprise that Netflix is one of the top producers of amazing original content. Among some of their best series are those that actually feature characters who are real estate agents as well! It’s interesting to see the portrayals of agents, and how they go about balancing their work in real estate with their personal life. In case you can’t get enough home related series, we’ve included some of these shows on the list as well.

Best shows to watch on Netflix if you want to watch real estate deals

Selling Sunset

If you’re ready to see what it’s like to make it as a real estate agent in Los Angeles, then this show is for you! Image courtesy of Selling Sunset.

If you’re ready to get into the ultra-luxe world of the Los Angeles real estate market, then Selling Sunset is your best bet. This show is best categorized as a docusoap-- which means that while technically it is meant to be a reality series, there seems to be some moments and some plot twists that can’t be anything but scripted (maybe just a little).

This series follows a group of glamorous female real estate agents who work for the Oppenheim Group selling million dollar homes. The series is full of all the drama you would expect from the competitive world of the luxury home market, but it also the cattiness that can erupt between the agents. People love this series because not only do they show beautiful homes, but they get to indulge in the guilty pleasure of watching people’s drama-- no matter how insignificant!

World’s Most Extraordinary Homes

If you can’t wait to be impressed by some of the most uniquely constructed homes all over the world, then World’s Most Extraordinary Homes should definitely be on your binge list. This series follows the architect Piers Taylor and real estate enthusiast Caroline Quentin as they travel the world looking for some of the most interesting homes. The houses on this program are all in the multi-million dollar listings-- but that is not the focus of the show. This series wants to focus on the homes’ unique architecture, and the truth behind the reason the owners of such properties choose to create their living spaces.

Some of the houses they’ve visited include houses that are built into the cliff sides, as well as buildings that are inspired by ships-- something you truly have to see to believe!

What’s For Sale? With a View

If you’re not only interested in touring beautiful houses, but also think that having a great view is important as well, make sure to catch up on episodes of What’s For Sale? With a View. The houses on this show are beautiful, of course, but the catch is that the view has to be just as pleasing on the eye as the home. The series focuses on potential buyers who have a very specific idea in mind when it comes to the view they want-- and the lengths they go through to get it.

Episodes include clients who want a peaceful view of a lake, to escape the hustle of a busy job, as well as buyers who want to have the best view possible of Central Park from their condo. Having a particular idea in mind for a view can be limiting, but well worth it when the buyers find that perfect view.

Tidying up with Marie Kondo is just one of many amazing home renovation and design shows on Netflix. Image courtesy of Marie Kondo.

The Great Interior Design Challenge

This contestants on this show aim to redesign and restructure a room in a house, utilizing only a small budget. The designers are all amateurs who are competing to create an amazing room by incorporating some interesting techniques, such as upcycling and crafting items by hand.

Not only are the hopeful designers creating beautiful and livable spaces for the judges, but they’re also setting out to impress the owners of the house. This show is full of fantastic-- and not too expensive-- design ideas that can be incorporated into your own decor scheme as well!

Netflix shows that portray real estate agents

Santa Clarita Diet

You wouldn’t think it at first glance, but there is definitely a real estate angle to the wildly popular Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix. This show portrays a normal, everyday couple who is trying to raise their daughter in Santa Clarita. Where things get interesting is when the wife, Sheila-- played by Drew Barrymore-- starts an unexpected and dramatic transformation into a living, breathing zombie. Or as close to that as possible.

Before her transformation, both Sheila and her husband worked as realtors in their neighborhood. It is interesting to note that a running theme throughout the show is the characters’ pronunciation-- or mispronunciation-- of the word Realtor. There is quite a social media debate about whether it should be pronounced Real-tor or Real-a-tor. Whichever way is correct, this show is definitely worth a watch!

Dead to Me

If it’s drama you prefer, make sure to check out Netflix’s Dead to me and the Santa Clarita Diet. Image courtesy of Netflix’s Dead to Me.

Another surprise show that has a real estate connection currently on Netflix is Dead to Me. This drama/black comedy stars Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini and is based around how people grieve and learn to deal with the death of a loved one. Applegate’s character is a real estate agent who is trying to cope with the sudden death of her husband. In grief therapy she meets Cardellini’s character, who is dealing with the death of her fiance.

This series provides viewers with an interesting look at how people struggle, but learn, to deal with the death of someone close to them. A deep friendship evolves between the two, but there is definitely more to the story than that-- you’ll have to watch to find out!

There are so many choices on Netflix when it comes to satisfying your need to see homes renovated or real estate from all over the world. Netflix also has a variety of shows that depict what it’s like to be real estate agent-- the good and the bad! What are your favorite real estate or home related shows on Netflix?
